This detailed guide covers everything related to assessments, homework/assignments, viewing results, and downloading your certificates.

1. Types of Assessments You May Encounter

On the EkoAI Academy platform you will typically see three main types of assessments:

TypePurposeWhen it appears
QuizShort knowledge checks (multiple choice, true/false, etc.)Inside lessons or at the end of chapters
Assignment / HomeworkPractical tasks you upload (documents, files, projects)Assigned by trainers or within a course
Online ExamLonger formal testsAt the end of major modules or the full programme

2. Taking a Quiz (Step-by-Step)

  1. Open the course and go to the lesson or chapter that contains the quiz.
  2. Click the quiz title (it often appears as “Quiz”, “Knowledge Check”, or a specific name).
  3. Read the instructions carefully. Pay attention to:
    • Time limit (if any)
    • Number of attempts allowed
    • Passing score / minimum percentage
    • Whether questions are randomised
  4. Click Start Quiz or Begin.
  5. Answer each question:
    • Multiple choice → select the correct option(s)
    • True/False → choose True or False
    • Other formats → follow the on-screen instructions
  6. Use Next / Previous to move between questions (if allowed).
  7. When finished, click Submit Quiz or Finish.
  8. Confirm submission if asked.

Important notes:

  • Some quizzes auto-submit when the time expires.
  • You may or may not be allowed to review answers immediately.
  • Your score and whether you passed appear right after submission (or after the trainer reviews it).

3. Viewing Quiz Results

  1. After submitting, you are usually shown:
    • Your score (e.g. 80%)
    • Pass / Fail status
    • Correct and incorrect answers (if the instructor enabled review)
  2. You can also find past quiz results later by:
    • Going back into the same course → Quiz section
    • Checking the My Quizzes or Results area on your dashboard (if available)

If you did not pass and multiple attempts are allowed, you can retake the quiz after the waiting period (if any).

4. Submitting Assignments / Homework

  1. Locate the assignment inside the course curriculum or under a dedicated Homework / Assignments section.
  2. Click the assignment title to open the details page. You will see:
    • Title and description of the task
    • Marks / total points
    • Minimum percentage required (if any)
    • Due date / submission deadline
    • Any attached files or instructions from the trainer
  3. Complete the work offline (write the document, create the project, etc.).
  4. Return to the assignment page and click Submit Homework or Upload.
  5. Choose the file(s) from your device (PDF, Word, image, zip, etc. — follow the allowed formats).
  6. Add any comments if a text box is provided.
  7. Click Save / Submit.

After submission:

  • You will see a confirmation that the assignment has been submitted.
  • Status usually changes to “Submitted” or “Under Review”.
  • The trainer will grade it and release the marks later.

Tip: Always submit before the deadline. Late submissions may not be accepted.

5. Checking Assignment Results & Feedback

  1. Go back to the same assignment page or to your Homework / Assignments list.
  2. Once graded, you will see:
    • Marks awarded
    • Feedback or comments from the trainer (if provided)
    • Whether you passed the minimum required percentage
  3. Download any returned files if the trainer uploaded feedback documents.

6. Online Exams (If Applicable)

Some programmes may include formal online exams. The process is similar to quizzes but usually stricter:

  • Fixed start time or limited window
  • Strict time limit
  • Possibly locked browser or monitoring features
  • One or limited attempts

Follow the exact instructions shown on the exam page and treat it like a real examination.

7. Earning and Downloading Certificates

Certificates are usually awarded automatically when you meet the course completion criteria (finish all required lessons + pass required quizzes/assignments).

How to access your certificate:

  1. Go to your Student Dashboard.
  2. Look for the section called Certificates, My Certificates, or Completed Courses.
  3. Find the course you completed.
  4. Click View Certificate or Download Certificate.
  5. The certificate will open as a PDF or image.
  6. Download and save it to your device.
  7. You can also print it if needed.

Certificate details typically include:

  • Your full name
  • Course title
  • Completion date
  • Certificate ID or verification code
  • EkoAI Academy / LSETF / InnoPower branding

Keep a digital copy safely — you may need it for job applications or further training.

8. Tracking Overall Progress & Requirements

To make sure you qualify for the certificate:

  • Complete every required lesson (look for green ticks).
  • Pass all mandatory quizzes (check the minimum percentage).
  • Submit and pass all required assignments.
  • Reach 100% course progress (or the percentage set by the programme).

You can monitor this on the course progress bar and your dashboard “Courses in Progress” vs “Completed Courses”.

10. Best Practices for Assessments

  • Read all instructions before starting a quiz or exam.
  • Do not refresh or close the browser during a timed quiz.
  • Save assignment files with clear names (e.g. YourName_Assignment1.pdf).
  • Keep screenshots or records of successful submissions.
  • Aim to finish assessments early rather than on the deadline day.
  • Review feedback carefully so you can improve in future tasks.
