EkoAI Academy Learning Platform
(maintenance.innopower.ai/ – powered by Infix LMS)
This detailed guide walks you through everything a student needs to find courses, enrol, navigate lessons, track progress, and get the most out of the platform.
1. Understanding Your Student Dashboard
After logging in, you land on the Student Dashboard. This is your home base. You will typically see:
- Courses in Progress – courses you have started but not finished
- Completed Courses – courses you have finished
- Course Purchased / Enrolled – all courses you are registered for
- Certificates – certificates you have earned
- Quick statistics (progress percentage, total time spent, etc.)
- Navigation menu (usually on the left or top) with links such as:
- Dashboard
- My Courses
- All Courses / Course Catalogue
- Profile
- Certificates
- Logout
Take a moment to explore the menu so you know where everything is.
2. Finding Available Courses
There are two main ways to discover courses:
Option A – From the Dashboard
Look for a section or button labelled All Courses, Course Catalogue, Browse Courses, or Explore.
Option B – From the Main Menu
Click Courses or All Courses in the sidebar or top navigation.
You will see a list or grid of available courses. Each course card usually shows:
- Course title and thumbnail image
- Short description
- Instructor name
- Category / Level
- Duration or number of lessons
- Price (most EkoAI Academy courses are free)
- Enrol / Start button
You can usually filter or search by Category, Level (Beginner, Intermediate, etc.), Free / Paid, or Keyword search.
3. Enrolling in a Course (Step-by-Step)
- Click on the course you want to join.
- You will see the Course Details page. Review:
- Full description
- Course outcomes / what you will learn
- Curriculum overview (chapters and lessons)
- Requirements (if any)
- Instructor information
- Click the Enrol, Start Course, Enroll Now, or Buy Now button.
- For free courses (most EkoAI Academy programmes):
- Enrolment is usually instant (one-click).
- You may see a confirmation message: “Successfully enrolled”.
- For any paid courses (if applicable):
- You will be taken to a payment or cart page.
- Complete the payment process.
- After successful payment you are automatically enrolled.
Once enrolled, the course appears under My Courses or Courses in Progress on your dashboard.
4. Starting and Navigating a Course
- Go to My Courses or Courses in Progress.
- Click the course title or the Continue / Start Learning button.
- You enter the Course Player / Learning Interface.
Typical layout of the learning interface:
- Left or right sidebar: Curriculum (list of Chapters → Lessons)
- Main area: Video player, text content, or document viewer
- Top or bottom bar: Progress percentage, Next / Previous buttons, Mark as Complete
How the curriculum works:
- Courses are organised into Chapters (or Sections).
- Each Chapter contains one or more Lessons.
- Lessons can be:
- Video lessons
- Text / reading materials
- PDF or downloadable files
- Quizzes (see Guide 3)
- Assignments / Homework
Click any lesson in the curriculum to open it.
5. Watching Lessons and Completing Content
Video Lessons
- Click the play button to start the video.
- Use the video controls (play/pause, volume, fullscreen, speed if available).
- Some platforms remember where you stopped (resume playback).
- Watch the full lesson. Many courses require you to watch a minimum percentage before the next lesson unlocks.
Text / Reading Lessons
- Read the content carefully.
- Scroll to the bottom if required.
- Click Mark as Complete or Next when finished.
Downloadable Resources
- Look for buttons such as Download, Resources, Exercise Files, or Attachments.
- Save PDFs, worksheets, or extra materials to your device.
Important – Progress Tracking
- The platform automatically tracks how much of each lesson you complete.
- A progress bar or percentage usually appears at the top of the course.
- Some courses use Drip Content (lessons unlock on a schedule or after you finish the previous one). If a lesson is locked, complete the earlier ones first.
6. Moving Between Lessons
- Use the Next and Previous buttons (usually at the bottom or side of the lesson).
- Or click any unlocked lesson directly from the curriculum sidebar.
- When you finish the last lesson of a chapter, the next chapter usually becomes available.
7. Useful Features While Learning
Bookmarks
- Many lessons or courses have a bookmark icon (heart or flag).
- Click it to save the lesson or course for quick access later.
- Find your bookmarks in the menu or under “My Bookmarks”.
Notes / Comments (if enabled)
- Some courses allow you to leave comments or take private notes under a lesson.
- Use this to write key points or questions for yourself.
Course Progress Overview
- Return to the course home or dashboard to see overall percentage completed.
- Completed lessons usually show a green tick or checkmark.
8. Leaving and Returning to a Course
- You can leave the course at any time by clicking the Dashboard, My Courses, or the logo.
- Your progress is automatically saved.
- When you return, click Continue on the course card to pick up exactly where you left off.
9. Completing the Entire Course
- Finish every required lesson (and any quizzes/assignments).
- The course status will change from “In Progress” to “Completed”.
- You will usually receive a certificate (details in Guide 3).
- The completed course moves to the Completed Courses section on your dashboard.
10. Best Practices for EkoAI Academy Learners
- Set a regular learning schedule (even 30–45 minutes daily works well).
- Complete lessons in order — many courses build on previous knowledge.
- Download any extra resources and keep them organised.
- If a lesson or video does not load, try refreshing the page or switching browsers (Chrome or Firefox are recommended).
- Use a stable internet connection, especially for video lessons.
- If you get stuck, note the exact lesson name and contact support through the official EkoAI Academy channels.
