These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you use the InnoPower AI website and take part in our training programs, courses and related services. The website and programs are provided by InnoPower LLC, which operates as InnoPower AI (“InnoPower”, “we”, “us”). By using the website or joining a program, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Our programs
InnoPower delivers practical AI training and train-the-trainer programs, some of them with partner organizations. Programs listed on this site include:
- ESBC Master Trainer Program, delivered with the ECOWAS Small Business Coalition (ESBC)
- EkoAI Academy, an initiative of the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), delivered through Lagos Innovates with InnoPower Africa
- Hoosier AI 1000, a community AI literacy initiative in Indiana
Each program has its own eligibility rules, schedule and registration process, set out on its page. Some registration steps take place on a partner’s website or form. If a program page and these Terms differ on eligibility or schedule, the program page applies.
Eligibility and registration
You must meet the eligibility criteria for the program you join. For example, EkoAI Academy is open to Lagos residents aged 18 to 40. You agree to give accurate and complete information when you register and to keep it up to date. We or our partners may decline an application, or remove a participant, if the criteria are not met or the information given is false or misleading.
If you create an account on the site, you are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
Fees
Programs and courses may be free or paid. The ESBC Master Trainer Program and EkoAI Academy are offered free to eligible participants. Where a paid course is offered, the price is shown before you enrol.
No one is authorised to ask you for payment to secure a place in a free program. If you are asked to pay, please report it to Info@innopower.ai.
Certificates and trainer certification
A certificate confirms that you completed the relevant InnoPower program, which may require attendance, assessments or a capstone project. It is not a university degree or a government licence. Master Trainer and Certified Trainer status is awarded only after completing the full trainer pathway for that program.
Certified trainers agree to describe their certification accurately, to use program materials only as permitted and to follow any trainer guidelines we share. We may withdraw a certificate if it was obtained through cheating or misrepresentation.
Acceptable use
When using the website and programs, you agree not to:
- break the law or infringe anyone else’s rights;
- harass, discriminate against or threaten other participants, trainers or staff;
- give false information or pretend to be someone else;
- copy, scrape, resell or interfere with the website, learning platform or program materials, except as these Terms allow; or
- enter confidential or sensitive information, or other people’s personal information, into AI tools during training unless a trainer has told you it is appropriate.
AI tools and educational content
Our training is educational. It is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. AI tools can produce inaccurate, incomplete or biased results, and you are responsible for checking AI output and for how you use it.
Intellectual property
The website, course content and program materials belong to InnoPower, its partners or its licensors. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning and, for certified trainers, to deliver the program as we authorise. You may not copy, sell or distribute them without our written permission.
You keep ownership of the work and content you submit. You give us permission to use it as needed to run the program, assess your work and issue certificates.
Partners and third-party services
Some programs run with, or on the platforms of, partner organizations, and we use third-party services such as online forms, video conferencing and hosting. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Privacy and cookies
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the website and programs are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee a place in any program, employment, income or business results. Outcomes reported on this site, such as results from past cohorts, describe those cohorts only, and your results may differ.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, InnoPower and its partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the website or programs. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the website, a program or your account if you breach these Terms or put others at risk. You may stop using the website or leave a program at any time.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. By continuing to use the website or a program after an update, you accept the updated Terms.
